Referral & Information Line OSU Wellness Center

Referral Line & Information Line

If you suspect you might be in an abusive relationship, or just want to help a friend, you’ve come to the right place. Here's what you can do:

  1. Call our confidential, anonymous, 24-hour It’s Abuse Referral & Information Line at 614.223.1111. We can immediately connect you with the resources you need to stay safe and to get help.

What will we do?

We will listen to your concerns and find out what we can do to help you be safe and healthy. We will connect you with whatever resources you need: Counseling? Emergency shelter? Questions about your options? Just someone to listen? We’re here to help.

What won’t we do?

We won’t ask your name or try to find out anything about you. We won’t try to get you to stop the relationship. (No one can tell someone when to get out of an abusive relationship.) We won’t call you back unless you give us a phone number and tell us when it’s safe to call (unless you’re in immediate danger.) No matter where you are in the process, we can help.

Find out more about the individual and group counseling sessions available right on campus, through the Ohio State Counseling and Consultation Service and the Student Wellness Center.
